This steel is a tungsten-based high-speed steel, which is the longest-used type of high-speed steel. The carbon in this steel mainly forms carbides with chromium, tungsten, and vanadium to increase its hardness, wear resistance, and red hardness.
Uses : manufacturing milling cutters, reamers, drills, round bar cutters, dies, general cutting tools , etc.
